I adore the work of Brazilian digital artist Marina Amaral.
Through rigorous research and impeccable precision, Amaral uses colorization to passionately breathe life into black-and-white photographs.
Of her dazzling images, I have to say, that one of my favorites is the one I've decided to inaugurate cork & cannon with.
This 1945 photo shows Easy Company commander US Army Maj. Dick Winters and two of his counterparts chilling on the terrace of Hitler's private mountain top residence and of course, drinking the Nazi dictator's booze.
And since the Nazi's drank fine wine and liquor like frat boys, the members of Easy Company sprawled in the spoils of war.
